Welcome to Taunton Alternative High School

Taunton Alternative High School (TAHS) opened its doors in February, 2013, after many years of planning and collaboration between the Taunton Public Schools and the Taunton Community. Located at 120 Cohannet Street, TAHS welcomes students of all economic, cultural, and social backgrounds who have experienced difficulty achieving success in a more traditional setting. At TAHS, students are provided with multiple pathways to earning their high school diploma, while experiencing small class sizes and flexible scheduling. Our academic programs and credit recovery models are aligned with the Massachusetts Department of Secondary and Elementary Education guidelines and the expectations of the Taunton Public Schools.
